Inline Kempink Tester

Inline Kempink Tester CTRL

Your production line testing itself.

Fully automated PDI measurement on your production line, per batch, with predictive quality modeling. No production interruption, no operator required. Results and predictions go directly to your MES system in real time.

Continuous inline measurement

Real-time process data — direct MES integration

No production interruption, no operator required

From sample to result, fully automated.

The Ctrl integrates directly into your production line. As soon as your factory automation delivers a sample, the process begins without operator involvement. The sample is pre-sieved to remove production fines. An optimized test volume of approximately 168 cc is measured and isolated automatically. Inside the test cylinder, the rotor creates an upward airflow that replicates the mechanical stress pellets experience during transport and handling. An integrated sieve continuously separates fines from intact pellets throughout the test cycle.

After the test, the scale records the weight of fines and intact pellets independently. The PLC calculates the PDI value and communicates it, with batch references, directly to your MES. The remaining pellets are discharged automatically. Transparent side panels allow visual inspection at any time. Remote support is available via a secure VPN through an eWon router.

The same methodology. A different point in the process.

The Inline Tester measures. The Ctrl measures, predicts, and advises.
The Ctrl is built on exactly the same Kempink test methodology as the Laboratory Kempink Tester. The measurement principle, the standards correlation, and the quality of the PDI result are identical. What changes is where the measurement happens, when it happens, and what happens to the data.

Not a machine. A subscription to quality

Quality-as-a-Service

Unlike the Laboratory Kempink Tester, the Ctrl is not sold as a capital asset. It is delivered as Quality-as-a-Service. WEMO-techniek retains ownership of the hardware and carries full responsibility for performance. You pay a fixed monthly service fee and a one-time implementation cost. No capital expenditure. No unexpected maintenance costs. No performance risk.

The quality data belongs to your operation. The technology, the uptime, and the performance are WEMO’s responsibility.

Why the service model changes more than the payment structure

When WEMO retains ownership of the hardware, WEMO has a direct operational interest in the system performing to specification. You are not buying a machine and inheriting its maintenance risk. You are subscribing to a performance outcome.

The business case for inline PDI measurement.

Everything you need to make an informed decision about your quality control investment
For the production operator

Central question: what changes in my daily work?

You steer on facts instead of experience alone. Real-time PDI data tells you what your line is producing right now, not what it produced two hours ago. When quality drifts, you see it during the batch and act on the same shift.

For the operations manager

Central question: what does this do to our operational results?

Fewer off-spec batches, less over-conditioning of steam and pressure, and quality data that documents itself for audit. Consistency across shifts and sites becomes visible, comparable, and controllable.

For the financial director

Central question: what is the financial business case?

Under Quality-as-a-Service the Ctrl is a fixed monthly operating expense, not a capital investment. No activation on the balance sheet, no depreciation schedule, no maintenance reserve. Energy savings from reduced over-conditioning and lower rejection rates typically absorb the monthly fee.
